Road construction signs have been here for months. No construction is happening. I received a response to my previous report that, "This project is not yet completed. The signs will be removed upon completion." Whatever project this is has also not begun. The signs need to be removed until the project is actually ready to commence. Posting signs months in advance is irresponsible. When and if this mystery project ever starts, crews will be at higher risk because of the street division's poor planning. Everyone in this neighborhood is used to those signs being there for no reason, so they are useless as a safety measure.
Potholes on W. 1st and Wylie/Euclid from big trucks/heavy traffic in demolition work past few years. Right by parking lot for rental houses.
Signs indicating that road construction is ahead have been here for months. No construction is taking place. These signs need to be removed. Leaving unnecessary warning signs up is irresponsible since it conditions people to ignore them.
There is a pothole that is forming on the side street at 822 W. 1st Street. It recently formed and had a pretty big cavity underneath it. Enough to cause damage if people keep driving on it and it erodes.
See case #204982. Response was dismissive. "..will be compliant when paving is completed..". *When* will that happen? This year? The areas surrounding the ramps are DANGEROUS, especially at Grant/Cottage Grove. Why start a project if it cannot be completed at the time?
Big hole in pavement at South side of house number 512 S. Rogers street. On Rogers street as moving into alleyway/SPAAH parking lot
Several potholes are continuing to get worse at this intersection. When turning onto Windsor Dr. from Arden, it is impossible to avoid these jokes without traveling into the opposite lane. Hank Duncan (City Bicycle Coordinator) told our subdivision last fall that the City would be redoing the streets during the Greenway project, but it has yet to be started. I left a voice mail for him 2 weeks ago, asking about the plan, but he has not responded. Please contact me.
Eastbound lane there's a good sized pothole. Thanks as always for the great work y'all do!
A large pothole located at the intersection of N. College Avenue and W. Riley Drive in Bloomington, Indiana. The pothole is situated directly at the entrance to the Steak ’n Shake and Granite Apartments. This pothole is significant in size and depth, creating a potential hazard for drivers entering or exiting the area. It poses a high risk of causing damage to vehicles, including tire blowouts, wheel damage, or suspension issues. Additionally, its location at a busy entrance increases the chances of accidents or traffic disruption. I recommend that the pothole be inspected and repaired as soon as possible to prevent damage to vehicles and to maintain road safety in this high-traffic area.
