Mr. Lord expressed concern about the "man-made" potholes around the city. He realizes that he does not live in the city, but still spends money here and is tired of running into these potholes. He wanted to suggest manhole "spacers", the piece of equipment between the manhole cover and the pavement. Call made at approx. 2:00 p.m., August 20, 1997. NO ADDRESS ENTERED AT TOP BECAUSE IT IS A CITYWIDE PROBLEM.
Caller spoke w/county highway superintendent's office about getting Wapehani Lane paved or chipped/sealed. It was chipped & sealed by the county 1-2 years ago. Caller was told that the City is responsible for this raod by someone at the county highway superintendent's office. Dust from road is bothering caller's parents, the Johnson family, and killing vegetation.
Corner Patterson and Morton there is a storm drain that is 3 inches or more before the road surface. This may be enough to damage some cars. It is close to New Hope side of the street.
There are large potholes on kinser pike between the bypass and winding way. Is there my car out of alignment.
There are 3 potholes in front of 117 S. Heritage Rd. Please take care of them. Thanks!
There is a new big pothole made by Gigabit on Eagleson at 2nd street. They didn’t come close to adequately filling the large hole they made. It is especially problematic at night as it can’t be seen.
Smith Avenue between Euclid and Davisson has some bad potholes which have been there for years. Lots of neighborhood people use this short street. We are paying huge property taxes, yet this street is never repaired.
How about the City of Bloomington Indiana does some repaving and potholes repair the road's are tearing up vehicles tire's strut's shock's we pay plenty in taxes let us see where are dollars are spent . tearing down a completely good hospital building for millions of dollars is unexceptionable in my thoughts and I know many are thinking the same thing just fix the roads in town a really concerned taxpayer!...
Hello, My name is Ashley Walden, and I am contacting you today due to various potholes around the city. I live on the west side of Bloomington, and work on East 3rd street. The number of potholes I encounter on my daily drive to work has grown in number and severity. The patches on the road near Twin Lakes have sunken to an extent that I see drivers swerving left into another lane to avoid their suspension being further tormented from the continual deterioration of road conditions in Bloomington. Please take into consideration replacing, not just patching, areas in Bloomington.
