Mr. Lord expressed concern about the "man-made" potholes around the city. He realizes that he does not live in the city, but still spends money here and is tired of running into these potholes. Caller spoke w/county highway superintendent's office about getting Wapehani Lane paved or chipped/sealed. It was chipped & sealed by the county 1-2 years ago. Caller was told that the City is responsible for this raod by someone at the county highway superintendent's office. Dust from road is bothering caller's parents, the Johnson family, and killing vegetation.

Citizen recently purchased home and says South Madison between Grimes and Hillside is in need of paving. Says several street cuts have made the road rough. Wants to know if it is on the paving schedule anytime in the near future.
Citizen is Pres. of Prospect Hill N'hood Assn. Says water has washed out "several deep potholes" on the west side of the 200 block of South Jackson Street.
Corner Patterson and Morton there is a storm drain that is 3 inches or more before the road surface. This may be enough to damage some cars. It is close to New Hope side of the street.
There are 3 potholes in front of 117 S. Heritage Rd. Please take care of them. Thanks!
There are large potholes on kinser pike between the bypass and winding way. Is there my car out of alignment.
There is a new big pothole made by Gigabit on Eagleson at 2nd street. They didn’t come close to adequately filling the large hole they made. It is especially problematic at night as it can’t be seen.
On the Saturday a couple weeks ago on the day of the Michigan football game, they open the road back up after shaving down the asphalt and left the 6 inch steel plumbing fixture of some type sticking up in the middle of the center lane. It broke off by the time I came back around to take a photograph, but I took a picture of the hole where it broke off at and a picture of it. I can’t believe I let this sticking that high out of the ground. it destroyed my tire bit my strut and caused some damage to my car, which was completely unacceptable. There’s no way to see it with the car in front of me until I hit it and I was careful around all these areas but they left two and 3 inch lifted up, plumbing all over the area not to mention multiple inch edges where they cut down. There’s no way a car can handle any of these situations especially not the 6 inch steel shown in the picture. Who do I talk to you about getting my car fixed? This was complete negligence not to mention extremely unsafe thank you.
