Recent construction of over-large building next to old stone church on Grant has caused drainage issues on the alley intersection between 9th and 10th, Grant and Lincoln. When it rains, a lake forms with nowhere for the water to go now. People who built the building should be required to fix this before winter.
There is a perfectly round hole in the middle of the alley right where it joins Walnut. Looks like something that the fiber-optic people made. It is dangerous. People walk over this all the time. It should be filled in with at least some gravel. Someone could twist an ankle.
The N Walnut St area near N Fritz Dr where the two bump signs have been placed should be repaired as I try to avoid the offset of inches but, other drivers are not patient and feel they can pull on around vs tailgating. Over a year ago, new water lines were installed along Brookdale to accommodate a new apartment complex on the west side of Kinser Pike. (Aspen Apts.) That construction dug up parts of the yards of the houses on Brookdale as well as part of the street itself. The street was never repaved and the areas that were covered up with dirt become muddy when it rains.
Open utility pit right in the sidewalk north of the convention center. S side of 3rd Street. Major trip hazard.
I live in Northwood Estates and travel daily on Kinser Pike from the bypass just to get home. After living here for 22 years, the amount of traffic has increased tremendously, especially BIG trucks. For the past 2 weeks, barrels, tape, etc have been placed there, restricting northbound turning in the left lane separately. What are the specific plans for the development and completion of this project? PLEASE complete this project before school resumes at Arlington and Bloomington High School North because in 1 afternoon I counted 28 buses going Southbound to the bypass. During the year, likely due to heavy construction equipment near my house the street to get to parking has become dilapidated. At this point whenever I pull into my driveway, the bottom of my car is hitting the ground and potentially being damaged.

Given that the fiber optic project is now "on hold" (= bankrupt?), can the City step in and correct some of the damage they caused? They drilled a hole in the SW part of the intersection of Dunn/12th. It is dangerous, since there are no sidewalks on Dunn and lots of people wander through this area at night on their way to and from The Standard" via the RR. Someone is going to get hurt if the hole is not filled soon or an animal might fall in, and since there appears to be a void beneath the street right at this location, a collapse could occur if a heavy vehicle were to drive directly over it.
Construction site workers have removed a portion of the dumpster enclosure on the alley, sitting at the NW corner of 325 E. 10th property parking lot. This left a dangerous 6" square hole where a support post had previous been. Not clear if the hole is on private property or in the alley, but it is dangerous now for people or small animals.
