Park Ridge neighborhood along E. Morningside Drive - at many corners, Concord, N. Glenwood East, the street asphalt has collapsed causing a steep drop off into the ditch beside the street. One street hazard barricade - need more at all locations. Already submitted a uReport but neighbors have contacted me today and are quite concerned regarding this hazard to walkers, bikes, and autos. Please help -

Two street hazard issues:
1. corner of N. Glenwood East and E. Morningside Dr. - asphalt is chipping away causing a walking and auto hazard with ditch. See photo. Maybe repair during the Greenway milling and paving as it borders that area of work. I suggest placing a hazard sign or something to warm folks of the hole.
2. Corner of Concord and E. Morningside Dr. - the guys cleaned out the pipe under the street yesterday, great job. Also a big hole/drop off at the corner to address.
Thanking mostly about pedestrians and bikes falling into the space and inattentive drivers which BTown is full of!

A citizen called in and explained that a curb in this area caused damage to their tire and has caused damage to others. She wanted to make sure it was reported. She said it was near the first speed bump on Morningside, right off Smith Road. She's already been informed of how to file a tort claim for the incident.

Hello Joe and Street Dept. staff. We sure appreciate you adding the new strips to the speed bumps on E. Longview Ave. Unfortunately one and maybe a second have come unglued. Sorry to see it and wanted to inform you ASAP. Thanks again for the action!

Street repaving request for East Longview Ave.
Looking for the 2024 paving schedule, may not be released yet.
East Longview needs paving through its full length within Park Ridge, from N. Glenwood West through to N. Glenwood east cross streets. This would accomplish:
-Repaving needed overall
- Install updated traffic calming bump design replacing current full width bumps.
-Stripe the bike path lane stripe as it's part of the E-W bike greenway.
And thanks! for placing the stop stripes at the 4-way stop E. Longview and N. Glenwood west by the park.
We have a significant issue with motorists running that stop sign by the park entering the neighboorhood. We appreciate your good work.

Attn. Street Dept. Need trailhead caution yellow marking to delineate area for no parking so the path is not blocked by parked cars or scooters. Parking in this area occurs often and is a hazard to trail users as well as ADA compliance concern for wheelchair residents and park visitors. Thanks for your follow up.

Good Street Dept. staff - bringing your attention to a street in the Park Ridge neighborhood: East Longview Ave. The photo shows some deterioration of pavement. Granted a water issue that is slowly being corrected by City staff though still an issue due to pooling water. You can see two layers of pavement coming up. WE were hoping the repaving on Longview would extend into the neighborhood but it stopped along the entry by the apartments. Please address this issue with patching or even better, milling and repaving. We would really appreciate the attention. We respect your huge responsibility all over the City and also our little corner. Thank you for considering this item - it is a well traveled road by neighbors, a bike path route so many bikers, walkers, etc. And those avoiding Pete Ellis and Third St. to travel east.
