LEAK IN PARKING LOT FRONT APT # 5
For the past few days our water has had a bad taste and distinctive odor. My understanding is that this currently a common issue, but we hope it can be resolved soon.
Melissa Dillon called Sheila McGlothlin on 11/22/96 and was referred to John Trotter at Monroe WTP. Ms. Dillon complained that there was a strong chlorine taste and odor at her residence which is in the vicinity of K-Mart East.
Customer called Dillman Rd. WWTP on 11/21/96 and complained that his water tasted "icky" and is cloudy. Customer is a Southern Monroe Water Co. customer. Customer said that Southern Monroe Water Co. had been digging near that property.
Mr. Hamric came in on 7/8/98 and reported that the water he is using to put in the pool at Woodridge Condos at the Pointe is green. It has been green for 48 hours - no odor, no taste. This is a Southern Monroe customer, but he was advised to check with CBU because the water is purchased from us. The Monroe Co. Health Dept. has tested the water and cannot find cause.
Karren Robbins - Bloomington South HS - called and said they have poor water pressure in some parts of the school. SG checked with TS and T&D has no work going near there. Nor have we had any other calls about pressure in the area around the school. SG called Mrs Robbins back and advised that we feel it is a problem internal at the school.
