The location is a lot in St. James Woods, which has been purchased but has no home construction on it. The lot is now filling up with very tall grasses/weeds. The neighborhood concern has to do with broader weed dispersion into adjoining lots/landscaping; as well as the potential to attract unwanted wildlife (e.g., rats, skunks, possums, etc.) which can easily travel to neighboring lots.
This empty lot is showing excessive growth - in some areas the vegetation has gotten to be 1-2 ft. high. This is creating a haven for creatures, insects and promoting more weed growth that directly impacts the neighbors on either side of this lot.
The lot (no home built yet) at 3868 E. Regents Circle is now becoming somewhat overgrown with weeds, plants and grasses. This is causing concerns over the wildlife it may be inviting into the neighborhood, as well as the spread of weeds into neighboring yards.
Two side-by-side lots - 3868 and 3872 E. Regents Circle - have lawn growth approach 12" high. The concern is not only for the neighborhood aesthetic, but that it will also attract unwanted insects and small animals.
Vacant house; grass 2 feet tall; mold all over the interior of the house; request that the exterior of the structure be checked for health issues.
Abandoned house; tall grass; overgrown bushes; siding falling off the house. Neighbor was mowing, but he moved. Ms. Ogborn would like a follow-up phone call.
