(Mike is vice-pres. Old NE Downtown Assoc.) Said construction on basement to add a different entry (?) began last summer but has not been finished. Said stuff strewn around & is unsightly. Owner of property is Doug Burns.
There has been a refrigerator & a washer or dryer sitting in front of garage since this summer. Complaintant concerned about refrigerator being unsafe to children.

Trash always piled in the yard. This problem has been going on for years.
Property adjacent to 409 N. Sping St. has trash everywhere- yard, driveway etc. Residents are not setting trash out for pick-up, just throwing it outside. "Can't miss it" PLEASE NOTE CORRECT ADDRESS. 02-04-97 Ms. Dant called to report correct address of problem is 1702 W. 8th St. She also stated that the problem has gotten a lot worse.
30 - 40 bags of trash.
Property owner - Pat Gray has an old truck made into a trailer to haul junk. Debris such as oil, glass, screws etc. wind up in street. He blocks street with truck and leaves tires scattered around. Complaintant said they're tired of looking at mess and not being able to get thru street.
Trash left out all the time with stickers.
Trash left out without tags all the time. Trash there now, has been there at least three weeks. Complaintant knows resident has been informed about tagging trash.
House on west side of Vendor Apts., north side of street, 1st house west of Henderson St. has 20 bags of trash at side of house. ALSO - UNREGISTERED RENTAL & POSSIBLY OVER - OCCUPIED.
