Can you please contact the homeowner at 135 North Clark Street and have them trim the shrubbery that overhangs into the bike lane on East Seventh Street? This street is a designated, signed bicycle route and a major bicycle commuter connector. As it is, bicycles need to get into the traffic lane (no sharrows) to avoid the overgrown bushes. Thank you for attending to this matter.

Overgrown weeds and shrubbery are encroaching on the roadway and bicycle path on south side of East Seventh Street between Roosevelt and Clark Street, forcing east-bound traffic into the middle of the road. With two-way traffic, this forced me too close for comfort near these shrubs. Thank you for looking into this.

The bushes on the corner need to be cut back or removed. Pedestrians cannot see around the corner and there have been several children who have crashed their bicycles on this corner. Walkers and runners have also run into each other at this corner. Cars drive around the corner quickly and there is no buffer between the road and the sidewalk. Any type of pedestrian crash at the corner could lead to someone falling into the road and getting run over. Please fix this hazard. Thanks!

New grass and tress were planted all along the new bike path last year (along E Rogers Rd behind Winding Brook Ct). There has been no maintenance of this areas since last year and now the grass and greenspace is completely overgrown with weeds.
Excellent work in repairing the bike path and walkway, but ongoing maintenance plan for the green space adjacent to the path is needed.
