Mr. Horton called to complain about the vacant lot west of 1507 W. 3rd Street (United Motor Sales). He believes the property is owned by Rogers Investment Group. The vacant lot needs moved and there is also a lot of construction debris. The lot is an eye sore. Please contact Mr. Horton and let him know the status of his complaint after the inspection is completed.

This report is in reference to serious overgrowth on a City right-of-way on the corner of N. Oolitic St. and W. 11th St. The property that this right-of-way is connected to is 1508 W. 11th St. The owner of this property is/was Joseph E. Day. However, he is recently deceased. At this time, the property is in the process of repossession by BB&T Bank. I know that in usual circumstances, Joe may have been responsible for the care of this area. However as I stated, he is now deceased. I have been trying to contact BB&T Bank - I actually may have an interest in purchase of the property since I own the vacant adjoining lots - but have gotten absolutely no response. In the mean time, the overgrowth on the City right-of-way that is on the west edge of his property is growing out into Oolitic St, has grown to the point of obscuring the speed limit sign, and is covering a fire hydrant. I am hoping that, given the circumstances, the City could come and mow/cut/clear that area. The main backyard is inside a fence, but this small section along Oolitic St has been left outside the fence. Thank you, Anthony Eller
Grass is overgrown. Overgrowth covers speed limit sign on west side of property and is growing out into the street.
At Maxwell & Mitchell bushes are blocking view. PLEASE NOTE PROPER ADDRESS IF POSSIBLE - USED THIS AS REFERENCE ONLY.
