Line of sight obstruction at Smith and Buckner NE and NW corner.
Caller complained about line of sight not being adequate for drivers traveling north on Highland attempting to turn West on Hillside. They stated their view of westbound traffic on Hillside is obstructed.
It is difficult to see if southbound cross traffic is coming when exiting the mall onto Clarise Blvd. Trees and overgrowth on the northwest part of intersection cause the problem.
Traveling northbound on Lincoln Street approaching 10th street: The right hand stop sign is not visible until the motorist is very close to the stop. Also, as you look towards 10th Street, it is difficult to tell it is a busy thoroughfare. There have been several accidents with drivers, perhaps unfamiliar with the intersection, blowing through the stop and hitting vehicles traveling on 10th Street. I didn't realize I could post a photo - I may try to get one as it would be helpful.
Corner of E, Hunter Ave, and High St. There is a Grass bush obstructing the view to the north at the stop sign. There is no street sign on this corner for E. Hunter Ave. Thanks
There is a huge sign announcing a future building project in this site. The sign obscures vision between northbound cars and pedestrian traffic. There is an elementary school right next to this intersection. An effort should be made to reduce added risk here.
