Traffic has increased dramatically. The speed limit needs to be enforced! Today my dog was hit. Everyday it's another close call. I own both side of road, sometimes cattle an livestock are out on the road. Maybe a farm sign could be erected, or speed limit lowered, but something needs to change.

Both Hillside drive and High Street are heavily used. Hillside is a major east west thoroughfare and High street is a commonly used to go north to south and skip utilizing college mall and south Sare Roads. Moores pike / Hillside Drive and West Country Club / East winslow drive / East Rogers Road all deserve added lanes of travel. Going east to west in this city is painfully slow which causes a lot of dangerous driving situations. The roads are way to narrow as it is and distracted (or mechanical issues / health issues / Construction / etc) oncoming drivers leave very little room to avoid a head on collision.

Someone has painted over the yellow curb on College Avenue (just north of the railroad bridge) with gray paint, allowing cars to park on the street in this area. It looks suspicious - can can you please check to see if this was done by the City or if it was just somebody trying to create an illegal parking area for themselves?
There are numerous close calls and way too many accidents at this intersection because cars on Grant aren't aware that cross-traffic on 9th doesn't stop. There was an accident this afternoon and luckily everyone was fine, but I believe it could have been avoided if the city put up a little "Cross Traffic Does Not Stop" sign below the stop signs on Grant. Regarding the Bloomington TRAFFIC STUDY; response to Beth Rosenbarger's comments regarding crashes and personal injury accidents at the recent Plan Commission meeting: Isn't it possible, the most crashes and personal injuries recorded in Bloomington happen on these one-way streets (Walnut & College and 3rd St. & Atwater), simply because they are the closest thing we currently have to city thoroughfares? I suspect these four streets/avenues are the mostly highly traveled each and every day, thus it is logical there will be more crashes where there is consistently more traffic! The frustration brought on by sitting/waiting in traffic behind busses and delivery vehicles, with no way around them on a two-way street, will most likely lead to crashes and personal injury, as well. Two-way streets are unlikely to result in fewer accidents and injuries. In fact, it may force traffic onto more side streets resulting in more injuries on side streets, as well.

On the west side of Park Square Drive the weeds have got extremely tall. It is a real issue trying to pull out of Highland Park school is a very dangerous situation as you can’t see traffic coming from the North. Weeds are almost as tall as street signs also posing as a traffic hazard.
A significant portion of people traveling north or south on High St do not come close to a complete stop at E. Arden Dr.. Some blow it off, some seem surprised or forgot the stop is there and the rest are making the case for changing the name from "California stop" to "Hoosier stop". This stop may be technically outside of the school zone but kids do walk/ride to school along that stretch of road.
