Earlier this evening I was in the left lane of Atwater, just west of Jordan Ave, and was behind another, taller car. The car in front of me pulled into the right lane, and that's when I realized it had pulled over because there were two cars heading toward us going west on Atwater. I honked, we all slowed down and stopped, then I pulled into the right lane and pulled up to the first car to inform it that this was a one-way street. The man driving it apologized, said he was from out of town and that he had just figured that out. This is not the first time that I have had this problem on Atwater, but it was the first time I actually thought I might have gotten hit. I strongly suggest adding some more obvious signage at both Jordan and Mitchell, which are the only two spots that I've ever noticed cars not heeding the existing traffic signs.

I believe that the traffic light at Atwater and Jordan should be on a delayed greenlight heading south on Jordan should turn green before the light going north turns green to allow traffic to flow freely before light turns red

when going east on 3rd st, after smith road you cant hardley turn in to edwards square, across from office lounge. traffic heading towards you from the east and traffic coming from behind you is dangerous. because theres no turn lane there. its a busy road, and is a real proble. i work in edwards square and we hear constant worries about it. it really needs to be adressed. thanks. if you have any questions you can call me at 812 -272-8721. thanks mr hiestand

Can we please get some traffic calming measures added to sheffield drive between Morningside and Park Ridge Rd? With the added morningside calming measures Sheffield has become a drag strip for individuals to get to the back of the neighborhood. Children at play signs, etc. are not helping. Any chance for enhanced enforcment and ticket citations?

Hello! On 12/9/24, I was involved in a car accident. I was driving west on 7th St., which had no stop signs along the stretch I was driving. A driver going north on Grant assumed it would be a 4 way stop, and after stopping, drove forward into my car and t-boned my driver’s side door. Both cars were totaled. My back is still sore. I am not sure if signage exists that cross traffic does not stop, or if a new traffic plan is in consideration, but I wanted to let someone know there was an incorrect 4 way stop assumption made at this intersection that resulted in an accident. Mr. Parks contacted us couple mo.'s ago re: traffic light @ GE entrance off Curry--semi's/cars both running light, running others off road--I explained it was County's jurisdiciton. This time called b/c County not responding--fed up! This time he added problem w/ speeding and reckless driving all up and down Curry. Again, reiterated what part of Curry is County & what's City (from 1833 Curry to Fulerton Pk)--told him I'd forward complaint to BPD to see if they could patrol area more & ticket.

April 13, approx. 4:15 p.m., City of B'ton fire truck 332 & aerial truck ran a vehicle off the road at a stop light on Third Street responding to a call regarding a structure fire in Park Square. Caller is a firefighter himself and feels it was unnecessary for the trucks to drive so fast when there were 2 other fire departments responding. Comments have been made before and this type problem should have been corrected--but wasn't.
