Park Ridge West on Longview: He was there last night, the security light is out. Also, there really needs to be 2 lights there instead of 1, without it, it is really dark. Needs the light ASAP.

There is a large tree that blocks the view of the east side of the road on 8th street from Roosevelt street. There have been many close calls with traffic and I think it's dangerous. The only way to see traffic coming from the east side is to pull up past the tree, but by then you are already halfway in the road. I would appreciate it if this tree could be cut down or at least cut in a way that makes it possible to see the road. The photo is the view from Roosevelt looking left to 8th street at the stop sign.

Earlier this evening I was in the left lane of Atwater, just west of Jordan Ave, and was behind another, taller car. The car in front of me pulled into the right lane, and that's when I realized it had pulled over because there were two cars heading toward us going west on Atwater. I honked, we all slowed down and stopped, then I pulled into the right lane and pulled up to the first car to inform it that this was a one-way street. The man driving it apologized, said he was from out of town and that he had just figured that out. This is not the first time that I have had this problem on Atwater, but it was the first time I actually thought I might have gotten hit. I strongly suggest adding some more obvious signage at both Jordan and Mitchell, which are the only two spots that I've ever noticed cars not heeding the existing traffic signs.

I believe that the traffic light at Atwater and Jordan should be on a delayed greenlight heading south on Jordan should turn green before the light going north turns green to allow traffic to flow freely before light turns red

when going east on 3rd st, after smith road you cant hardley turn in to edwards square, across from office lounge. traffic heading towards you from the east and traffic coming from behind you is dangerous. because theres no turn lane there. its a busy road, and is a real proble. i work in edwards square and we hear constant worries about it. it really needs to be adressed. thanks. if you have any questions you can call me at 812 -272-8721. thanks mr hiestand

Can we please get some traffic calming measures added to sheffield drive between Morningside and Park Ridge Rd? With the added morningside calming measures Sheffield has become a drag strip for individuals to get to the back of the neighborhood. Children at play signs, etc. are not helping. Any chance for enhanced enforcment and ticket citations?

Hello! On 12/9/24, I was involved in a car accident. I was driving west on 7th St., which had no stop signs along the stretch I was driving. A driver going north on Grant assumed it would be a 4 way stop, and after stopping, drove forward into my car and t-boned my driver’s side door. Both cars were totaled. My back is still sore. I am not sure if signage exists that cross traffic does not stop, or if a new traffic plan is in consideration, but I wanted to let someone know there was an incorrect 4 way stop assumption made at this intersection that resulted in an accident. Citizen says he was traveling north on N Old SR 37 towards Dolan. Says he was in a passing zone attempting to pass a white and blue sanitation truck. Says the truck swerved over into his lane and ran him off the road causing a flat tire and bent rim. Said he was attempting to pass 3 vehicles and sanitation truck was in the middle. Wants City to repair his vehicle.
