Complainant would like a traffic volume count performed on Convenanter for use in assessing the impact of the Rogers Development proposed behind Jackson Creek Shopping Center.
Complainant would like Ballantine made one-way going north and Hawthorne made one-way going south. She feels that this will make for a safer pedestrian crossing. (see letter in traffic complaint file)
Compainant is requesting no parking at the intersection of Briancliff and Kinser. He says that the he has called the City numerous times and that he has gotten no reponse. This morning his daughter was hit by a car at the intersection. He says that this is due to cars being parked at the corner.
Mr. Bailey called concerning the signs on N. Dunn. He said that there have been several accidents lately that have knocked down the signs on the curves. He also would like the City to pursue a correction for the road. He would support closing of Dunn in that area. He said to contact the new president of the Homeowners Assoc. Larry Grubb. He also stressed that brush along the road needs to be constantly trimmed.
Cars are parking on the road along Palmer causing traffic to drive in the yards to get by. Problem is apparently due to a lack in pavement width and snow piles.
The one-way alley east of the above address (currently one-way south) running from Washington to Lincoln needs to be one way the other direction or two way. People continually drive the wrong way down the alley.
Council member Sabbaugh (339-5500) received a request from Mrs. Roberston for either no parking or parking on one side or neither side of Huntington Drive.
