There's something else going on in the neighborhood. The Indiana RR trestle on Adams Street is hit about twice a week. A RR truck took a look at it a few days ago. Rebar is exposed again, they will have to fix it. A neighbor says the trestle is hit about twice a week. I saw a semi with a 40-foot trailer turn around at 6th Street and Adams. Closing Vernal Pike is squeezing traffic, and maps don't help. How about a "No Trucks" and "Low clearance ahead" signs at 5th and Adams?

Construction hazards on SARE Rd, lanes not properly shut down, no signs, construction had me in standstill traffic for OVER TEN MINUTES on my way to work this morning at 8 AM, should NOT be allowed to close lanes during morning rush hour, people holding signs to direct traffic were not coordinating with each other causing more hazards, again very upset they are even allowed to close lanes that early on a job that is nonemergency, will continue to complain to every channel necessary to get this RIDICULOUS problem solved so I am not late to work again

The construction crew on South Sare road at the new apartments started setting up safety barrels at 7:45am. They blocked traffic for 10 min. They had no signs up, and there were to many of the workers standing and talking to the flaggers keeping them distracted and in the road making the conditions unsafe to the workers and motorists. One worker was laughing and turned without looking and almost got hit by 1 of the many drivers that were forced to turn around in the middle of the street due to being late for work and very long lines. Several of the workers did not have their safety helmets or safety vests on. And the last several work days they have left the road in muddy conditions making the road slippery when it rains. I live in the apartments adjacent to the construction site and have witnessed cars slightly sliding when they have to hit theirs brakes quickly due to the heavy traffic and the heavy population in the area. Please have the crews take care of the safety issues and concerns. I know when I was inspecting for smithville communications during their mass construction a few years ago that I was asked to have the crews I was in charge of to wait until after 8am to set up any work that required a flagger unless it was an ongoing job and the barrels were left out from the previous day with a temporary stop light and warning signs. Does anyone even monitor the lights to enter a freeway. Car pool lane is only for two or more in the vehicle. The ramp from Bush Lake Road to enter 494E is constantly being abused. Car after car after car is using the car pool lane with only one person in the vehicle. Very frustrating as I'm in the proper lane awaiting my turn and watching all these other cars entering the freeway and not using the proper lane. Why have this feature if it isn't monitored?

Indiana RR bridge on Adams St. has many severe impacts scars. The Waterman Neighborhood Association is considering a painting project, but would like inspection and repairs first. Suggestion: paint it yellow, so speeders would see it, and the City have paint on hand to cover up speeder mistakes.

So many cars are speeding through the Waterman neighborhood, between 7th and 8th St from Vernal Pk to Spring St. The speeders run up and down 7th and 8th St. Here are some ideas the City could help us out with, 1. a Temporary Speed Display Board on 8th St, 2. Additional speed limit signs, 3. Speed bumps. I would certainly welcome any suggestions you might have.
