WATER LEAK. THERE IS A LOT OF WATER COMING UP IN ALLEY AND RUNNING ON TO 2ND STREET.
Big drainage problem where Morton intersects 2nd, just west of the RR tracks. Big puddles form, drain on north side is higher than the depression that the water gathers in. Water freezes in winter. Citizen says she has reported this several times but no action is taken and no one responds to her. (could not find record in system)
cUSTOMER SAID THERE IS SOMETHING "STICKY" IN THE WATER. WATER TESTED OK.
Mr. Carrico recent water bill was 3 times the normal rate. He later learned that Utilities had a list of people whose water bills increased drastically. Mr. Carrico is upset that no one informed him as soon as this was noticed so he could look into the problem. After he was informed, he called a plumber and it will be several days before they can work him in. He would like an adjustment to his bill.
MR. SHRINER COMPLAINS THAT HE HAS CALLED THREE TIMES (WE HAVE NOTE OF TWO CALLS) ABOUT FILLING A LARGE HOLE BESIDE THE WATER METER. ACTUALLY, THIS IS A WATER VALVE BOX AND WILL HAVE TO BE STRAIGHTENED BEFORE WE CAN FILL IN HOLE.
Fire run to tanning salon. Acting BC Matthews reported that the electrical panel appeared to be in disrepair.
(TAKEN BY JR) OWNED BY HTRC- HAS CALLED AGENT REGARDING TRASH BOTTLES IN ALLEY. HE CLAIMS TRASH ALONG STREET BY POWER STATION IS OUT ON DUNN/INDIANA , CLAIMS IT IS DUE TO RECYCLING. NOT SURE IF IT IS 1200 OR 1202 N. WALNUT.
