SEWER BACKING UP FROM DRAIN
SEWER BACKING UP FROM DRAIN
The Public Works Dept. has had approximately 5 calls within the last week regarding the wildflowers growing near the roundabout between N. College Avenue and N. Walnut Street. The problem is when you are going north on Walnut Street and crossing over to go south on College. The flowers obstruct the line of sight when you are looking north. Can something be done about trimming the flowers back?
the recent paving along College has in effect lowered the crub and now stormwater flow onto the sidewalk.
Mr. Boese requests that the west curb on Larkspur where it intersects with Allen be painted.
Tuesday/missed pick-up/Yard waste: had the yardwaste bags & stickers on bags, no notice left.
Park Square Park: Just mowed and did not pick up limbs - her husband picked up the debris himself. Very upset over this because they mow around it - they are piled up by trees. Do not like to look at the eye sore. This has been going on for 2 years. Wants the branches picked up ASAP!
Commendation: A woman called to commend the staff on the ECCENTRIC programs. She said that, although she has not been able to attend all events, she thinks that the series is wonderful!
Residents at 503 E. Cottage Grove keep their trash in the alley. There are squashed bags of garbage there since March. Neighbors see rats every day around the trash.
The grass in the yard is still to high. He has complainted before. He wants it mowed.
Police Dept. reports trash along the road in the 200 block of E. Dodds St.
