For the love of Bloomington, can we please get cross-walk lights on tenth? Especially in front of the library. It would make driving easier and regulate the wave of students jumping in front of cars to cross the street.

A resident reached out to us via Facebook about this handicap on-street parking space that was blocked by plowed snow at the southwest corner of the square, on College Ave. at the intersection of Kirkwood Ave. on Saturday evening, January 26. Just tried to feed this meter. My money is stuck in the slot but wouldn't fall into the meter so I got no time on the meter. I am parked there now. White Prius. License number is IU plate "LOCAL"

Intersection: Kingston Dr and State Rd 46, also known as the closest intersection to Chikfila@College Mall. The cross-walk lights between the two banks turn "walk" as the traffic between Safeway and First Bank gets the "green arrow" to turn left. In other words, pedestrians will be assuming they have the right of way and step into the road while some drivers may only notice the green arrow- potential accident.
