It seems like every trail at Bryan Park that is near a tree or a bush needs to be trimmed. The trail that goes through the middle of the park and the section of trail on the north side of the tennis courts are the worst. You have to duck and dodge to get around. Bushes and trees or encroaching on the trail from the sides and then tree branches are hanging down creating hazards to hit your head on whether you're walking or biking. The parks department needs to go around the entire park and trim everything. It's a mess.
This should not be an all way stop. Traffic leaving the subdivision isn't any more than the traffic leaving highland. This backs up too frequently than is necessary. And there are no other stop signs impeding traffic on winslow
Bicycle parking is never good for the Saturday Farmer's Market, but today it was exceptionally problematic. When I first arrived I was able to lock my trike but when I had trouble accessing my lock and when I did get to it two helpful young men assisted by lifting my trike to free it from the pile. I am 75 years old. This was hard. My trike is ADA compliant but it is not compact. I don't take it into the market, but my walking ability is limited so don't tell me about the bike racks that are blocks away from the market. Please do better with bike parking convenient to the market
Wood chips all over the playground. The section near the rules sign is always muddy and flooded. Please fix.
The chair swings on the south side of the Switchyard Park playground are so squeaky you really can’t enjoy them or have a conversation
Neighbor has moved in and has piled random trash in the yard and cover it with blankets and tarps. Some of it is not even covered.

My property at [address] flooded again on June 18, 2025, continuing a long-standing pattern of stormwater failures. This area lies within FEMA Zone AE. I have lost two vehicles to flooding and continue to suffer property damage and personal risk due to repeated flood events. The creek that repeatedly overflows lies just off my property line, meaning I have no ability to access, maintain, or control the waterway that causes these floods. Despite this, my home bears the damage. City crews have occasionally cleared culverts, but no long-term mitigation appears to have been performed. This remains a clear public hazard. I am formally requesting inspection and corrective action by the City under Title 13 of the Bloomington Municipal Code, which mandates maintenance, inspection, and prevention of stormwater harm. I have also contacted FEMA Region V to report this issue and request federal documentation. Attached to this report is one photo showing flooding on my property during the June 18, 2025 event, after I had to relocate my vehicle to prevent further damage. A parcel map showing the property location in relation to the adjacent creek is also available upon request.
