Please add a flashing light and signage at the crosswalk where the B-Line crosses Rogers to alert drivers to be prepared to stop for pedestrians. It's especially important because the sidewalk on the east side of Rogers is closed, so people entering or exiting the B-Line there need to cross from or to the west side of Rogers. (I.e., we can't walk on the east side and cross Rogers at the stop sign at 11th St.)
This property immensely violates the City code regarding overgrowth of the yard and landscaping. In fact, the public sidewalk attached to this property that runs along 16th Street is practically impassable. There is barely a walkable path where the sidewalk should be.
Please see attached photo. This location is at 10th and Park and has been reported to the IU Grounds Dept. as a tripping hazard. The gray bucket is there to indicate a bus pickup for the Boy Scouts that are in town but the metal and the sandbags are blocking the sidewalk, our crews moved the items off the sidewalk and into the homeowners yard. Crossing 11th under the train bridge is dangerous. Vehicles cannot see the pedestrian crossing on the other side of the bridge. We should have flashing pedestrian lights that a pedestrian can activate when crossing 11th on either side of the bridge. Lights similar to 4th and Rodgers would be perfect.
Vegetation overgrowth and fallen limbs block sidewalk. North side of 9th between Fairview and Jackson. Also east side of Jackson between 9th and 8th.
Bush growth overtaken sidewalk, forcing pedestrians to walk into 10th st.
RRFB at allen&walnut doesn't work - northbound traffic does not yield. Went through twice on bike at about 9:30-10AM today (June 18), activated the beacon, and both times, SB traffic yielded and NB did not *at all*. I did not investigate the flawed design - that's planning&transportation's job.
The barricades set up on Rockport Road at the intersection of Roger's Street and Rockport Road are creating a dangerous situation. Specifically, the barricade in the lane for Rockport approaching Rogers requires traffic to drive in to oncoming traffic. This particular barricade doesn't seem to serve any purpose, as it is only visible to traffic traveling on Rockport towards Rogers street, the opposite direction of the Tapp/Rockport intersection.
Please unblock this road it is ridiculous I live at 2738 S Pinehurst Dr and I have to drive though some neighborhood to get to my house. If you are trying to stop people from going through my neighborhood you are failing because people will just go through more neighborhood to get around the construction and can you blame them you have completely shut the south side of town down and you are going to send all the Jehovah’s Witnesses though my neighborhood now since you cut off the only direct access to their church.
Sidewalk is blocked from both sides - by a tree on the street side of the sidewalk and a bush on the other side.
