As you may know, the cable installers are back at work in the Winslow Farms neighborhood (after leaving it uncompleted for well over a year), and they are inflicting significant damage on properties. We came home to find piles of dirt and rock, a new ground box not flush with the ground, and significant damage far up into our lawn from their boring machine--way beyond the utility easement. Further, their work is damaging sidewalks-both cracking the concrete and pushing it up to create tripping hazards. They were rude to our neighbor who confronted them about these issues. Further, they indicated that they were going to trench back between the houses on Azalea, across the conservancy area, to Bayberry. I would like to talk with someone from the city about this excessive damage, how far back onto our property they are allowed to bring their construction equipment before it becomes trespassing, what is an acceptable expectation/timeline for repairs to our lawn, and what sort of plans they may have for trenching back between our houses and across a conservancy area. They posted announcements of their work AFTER they began and a neighbor complained. Needs "Cross traffic does not stop" or "Cross traffic stops only for pedestrians" signs below stop signs facing East and West on 4th st. Too many accidents and multiple daily near-misses. The insurance companies love this intersection but I hate it and all of the problems it makes for so many people. I understand the need for hybrid intersections that allow for both pedestrian right-of-way and heavy flow of traffic but the improvements that have been made are not enough. There are significantly less incidents between motorists and pedestrians but as many if not more actual car crashes. Most if not all of the accidents are caused by motorists crossing 4th st assuming they are moving through a 4-way stop if they are completely unfamiliar with that intersection. This can be averted almost always with "Cross Traffic" signage. Please act on this soon.

First off, I want to say thanks for the stop sign that was recently installed on 7th St at the B-Line trail crossing. This is much appreciated but I have a suggestion for a small change to help improve safety even further. I walk that intersection multiple times a day and see cars that seem to think it is a 4-way stop. If a car stops (and TBH most do not stop) I have seen multiple cases where the car thinks they then have the right away and proceed in front of crossing bikes and pedestrians. My suggestion is to add signage that says "cross traffic does not stop" or similar which is very common for other 2 way stops around the city. That would just be one more sign to the drivers that the trail traffic has the right away and is not required to stop. Thanks!

The woods are unkempt and out of control. Trash is everywhere and blowing onto other people's property. Can someone come out here and clean this up or cite the property owner for unsightly property.

I have complained 50 times in the last ten years about my neighbor overgrown yard especially the bamboo which I have to cut back every month or risk it taking over my yard , and in those ten years only one time has the city done anything . The owner was issued a warning in August I believe but she still hasn’t cut down the bamboo or the extreme overgrowth on our property line wich hangs over onto my roof.
