509 E Southern DR
- Case Date:

Botched pavement repair has caused a big dip over one side of the street. I think the property owner adjacent to the issue had a sewer line repair maybe?

Vegetation overgrowth on sidewalk. Not sure if this is responsibility of CFC who owns the parking lot or the house owner of 418 E. 8th as it appears to be in between. But there is now a path that people are going into the grass because nobody can get by the tree branches on the sidewalk.
I discovered that AEG had drilled through my sewer tile after calling plumbers several times to fix sewer blockages. On April 9, 2024, I contacted Eddie Helmondollar and his supervisor Dave Craig (cc:ed above) with pictures of the damage and a copy of the invoice I paid to the plumbing company ($2250). Dave says that he has repeatedly contacted Accounts Payable to check on the status of my claim. But despite my regular requests for help, I have not received any assurance the claim is being processed or when to expect the reimbursement. It is now July—3 months since I alerted AEG to the problem. Please assist me with this request. Thank you for any help you can provide. Plant growth hangs over the street making the intersection dangerous. When trying to look right before proceeding at the stop sign to turn on W 6th St from Kirkwood Ave, you cannot see any traffic due to overgrowth of plants
Sidewalk is completely blocked by overgrowth of what appears to be a box elder (?) Tree is right on the property line between 412 (CFC) and 418 (Brawley).
Southern sidewalk on 17th blocked by fiber contractor with no signs or barricades present
Weeds growing out of the street over over into the street
the landlords have not trimmed back the hedge out front this season and it makes visibility very hard pulling out on rogers street
Yew bush/tree has grown out so far that it halfway blocks the sidewalk. This makes for a dangerous situation at night because the sidewalk is in really bad shape at the same location. Those two things together pose a major trip hazard if people have to navigate around the yew in the dark and also have to watch their step on the crumbling sidewalk.
Limb down on sidewalk and a tiny bit into the street, just west of the intersection of Indiana Ave and 6th St, on the north sidewalk.
