Light 276 940 is out.
Hi! It's been long enough since I worked for the City that I can no longer remember whether this is a signal that the state or the city controls, so please let me know if I need to talk to the state instead. I am a parent of a North High School student, but we're districted in South, so we carpool every day to school and back. I noticed today that the signal at 46 and Kinser Pike doesn't stay green very long for the cars on Kinser. Normally, that makes total sense. However, I'm wondering if, during that pick up time in the afternoon when traffic backs up down Kinser Pike, the timing of the light could change to allow for more cars to get through that intersection. It would be so lovely if that were possible. It's a pretty small window, starting with when the school buses leave North, probably around 2:50 or so, and maybe going for 20 minutes after that? Thank you for your consideration.
The street light at the intersection of East Hunter Avenue and South Park Avenue is out and needs to be replaced.
In this area there's a lot of uneven road/semi potholes. Some have been filled some have not.
Pothole
Pothole. Part of it was fixed but not all.
Street light is out. Location is used by children waiting for school bus.
Street light is still out. Duke never came to fix.
There is significant debris – sand and gravel – strewn across the bicycle lane in several places on North College Avenue. The debris has been there for MONTHS. The debris is very hazardous to bicyclists, especially because it is so thick and extensive. Bicyclists avoiding the debris or sliding on the debris could be struck and killed by motor vehicles – especially given that the City utterly fails to enforce the speed limit, which means that drivers have less time to react. The area with these piles of debris extends for almost the entire length of Miller Showers Park.
Pedestrian Walk/Don't Walk signal is blocked by a tree branch at the northeast side of S. Dunn and E. 3rd St.
