SEWER ODOR IN HOME
The alley behind Mrs. Gwin, from 15th to 16th St, is over grown with weeds. Since 1940, she has always kept it mowed. She's 81, was just in the hospital, so can no longer do so. City crews have graveled and trimmed the rest of the entire alley from Walnut to Dunn, except the block behind her. She feels it's time for the city to take over this part of the alley too.
the property at the Southwest corner of 16th & Woodburn Ave has been vacant for 7 years, and is on a large wooded lot. The yard is uncared for. Complaintant saw a rat go into the structure.
Mr. Leiter is calling b/c he feels that there is very poor planning when it comes to sidewalks currently being installed on E. 3rd St., and in the past on Smith Road. Concrete is being placed around the mailbox posts which will rott or rust way before the concrete will erode. He is thinking of the disabled who can access the sidewalks due to the curb cuts, but then once they're on it they cannot utilize it because the mailboxes get in the way!
High weeds. Weeds back near the alley that comes into Oak St. are extremely high. She had to call 3 times last year.
There are two old cars (not in use) parked in the drive way, that are completely filled with trash.
On North Kinser Pike, between 17th Street and the Bypass, there are three (3) large illegal Celebration Fireworks signs.
Trailer W/Sign blocking sidewalk right next to Taco Bell, on S. Walnut, at Chrysler Dealership.
Mr. Brewer called to find out what could be done to minimize traffic on Henderson St. and find out if Henderson St. is a permissible route for trucks to use, particularly City trucks.
