The two building directly to the north of my building are currently unsafe with multiple viewings of homeless and users coming and going from in between the buildings. It's not safe for anybody to be back there with the activity that happens daily. The light on that property is also out and there have been homeless camping in the unkept wooded area behind my property that is owned by the City. I thought that the two buildings were to be torn down at one point, but it seems that the issues were temporarily fixed and the owner was allowed to keep the buildings up. cars are treating the two lanes both as eastbound through lanes making it an interesting conflict with bikes. signs on the pavement still indicate through or turn.

This issue concerns the new double bike lane on 7th Street (especially near the 2-way intersection of Kirkwood Avenue and Dunn Meadow). Since this bike lane is so new and it is big enough for two lanes of bike traffic, I have repeatedly seen cars mistakenly turning down the bike lane. As you can imagine, this is extremely dangerous to both drivers and cyclists. Last week there was a bike sign at the intersection which cut down on driver confusion. However, as of this morning, the sign is not there and I saw yet another driver make this mistake and turn down the bike lanes. I would suggest that the bike sign be permanently installed to help prevent this problem in the future. I greatly appreciate your help! I've seen this mistake happen at least half a dozen time since IU classes started.

The pedestrian signal on the SE corner of 11th and College is missing the signal you would look at to cross 11th southbound. The whole yellow box the walking man and his nuh-uh hand live in is simply not there.

Garbage and debris all over the property and it's left there for days to blow into neighboring yards. City Bus shelter littered with garbage every day which collects overnight when the busses aren't running. Homeless citizens use the bus shelter as a living room from 4pm till midnight or later dropping garbage and causing noise disturbances. The free food cabinet in front of the property is a great idea, but canned food bakes in the direct afternoon sun every day which is a health hazard.

Our tap water has a strong smell and taste of mildew. I don't know about water safety, but at this point we can't even use it for cooking, brushing our teeth, or making coffee, let alone drink it.

Water smells like dirt. Literally like soil. It’s been this way for at least a week, and nothing has made it better. I’ve tried bleach in the drains, thinking it was the pipes.
