We have cleaned the tops of the grates in front of our building but can not clean the culvert in the ditch, which is clogged with debris. We also have one grate that has erosion barrier under the grate which won't allow water to pass through as it is packed with mud. We were flooded in 2008. We were within a foot of it entering our building early last Saturday morning. Please send someone to address this issue before Friday. We can not survive another flood.

Hello - I am the homeowner at 102 South Waldron St. here in Bloomington. This past Friday my basement flooded an excessive amount (3 feet) due to water buildup on Waldron Street. This has happened 4 times over the past 6 years I have lived here because the water has nowhere to go due to the flat area at the bottom of Waldron Street. I am requesting a storm drain be installed on Waldron Street just North of my house and in front of 100 South Waldron Street. My neighbors basement has also been severely flooded over the years due to water buildup from the street - the homeowners name is Simon Ladd. We both have sub pumps in our basements (I actually have 2) and it still doesn’t solve the flooding issue. I have spoken to Mr. Ladd and we both agree the best solution is for the city to install a storm drain. My number is 812-369-0765. I would love to meet with someone from engineering regarding this issue and show them exactly what’s going on with the water. Thank you, -Kyle Spears

in the back end of our property we have a storm Storm pipe set up between me and my neighbor. This past weekend we had a storm where the pipe was pushing out alot of water causing it to cave in the ground and crowding the sides of the channel. It has been causing the sides to collapse and making the channel wider taking from the land. I placed some rocks to keep the storm water from damaging the channel last year. yet We will need to add some extra rocks to hold it in place since it can't withstand the pressure as shown in the attached image. The dump under the bridge entering/exiting The Switchyard park is absolutely a disgrace! Enforce the laws on the books! This town is in the middle of a homeless drug addiction plague. on a daily bases i'm seeing more and more people walking around the downtown area with suitcases all leaving or heading towards the shalom center. This needs to stop! Private citizens are having to take defensive measures (fencing around their business) in their own hands and money because this woke mayor is pandering to these lawless people that don't pay taxes. We are the ones paying the taxes it's time to represent the Bloomington tax payer.

The workers are being illegally stripped of their earnings by the management. In an incident that occurred Saturday ( June 19th), I believe, a waitress had a large party of 15 guests walk out on her without paying the bill. The manager then made her pay their bill out of her own pocket which was hundreds of dollars. This is also not the first time I have heard of this restaurant doing such a thing. This is not only Illegal but extremely abhorrent behavior. I am emailing and contacting as many governmental authorities as I can so that something can be done about this. If you have any better leads on where I can talk to the right people about this abuse of power please let me know.
