There was a car accident on Indiana Ave. between 8th and 9th Street by Mather's Museum. There were 3-4 street trees that were damaged (and possible curb damage). IU has determined there were street trees planted by the City. Thanks Jill.
There is a fairly sizable pothole on 4th Street a bit west of Indiana Avenue (probably something like 30-60 feet west of Indiana Avenue, based on memory and a guess).
In the westbound bike lane on 4th Street, just east of being directly under the walkway above from the parking garage to the mall, there is a growing rough spot in the road. It is just perfectly placed in the bike lane to be a potential problem for a cyclist.

There is a 2 by 1 foot pothole that was intentionally dug in the alley that runs behind the property.So the pothole is between the property and the Hutton Honors College. Don't know if the city or party that dug it was looking for pipes or what, but the hole has been there for almost two weeks unfilled. There are 6 parking spots all in a row behind the property. The pothole is dug in such a way that it is directly behind a parking spot making the spot unusable. Also, when the pothole was initially dug there was already a car in the parking spot. The pothole was dug directly behind the tires of the car making it impossible to avoid when the car backed out. May want to instruct crews or whichever party was responsible not to do that. I took my 3 year old son to Bryan Park yesterday and a man had a dog with him that was poorly restrained (on a 25 foot cable). My son was running towards the toddler playground when the dog ran after him and knocked him down. The dog was on top of my child for several seconds and while the dog didn't harm my son, it was a very frightening experience for him. I don't want him to be afraid of dogs, and I've been trying to teach him to appreciate animal companionship. I don't know what the rules are for leashes in Bryan Park, but dogs need to be handled better, especially near or around the kids' playgrounds. I didn't get the man's name or information but I took a picture. He was walking on a bright orange tightrope and he had a white dog (young, probably a puppy - this is the one that chased my son) and a black dog.
