Damage from recent storm. Treekeeper Site ID 38515, Kentucky Coffeetree. Unsure as to integrity, so wanted to check, especially as the cuts were made by a passerby during the storm (as the downed branch was blocking Kirkwood traffic). More photos available to send, too.

The ADA accessible parking sign for Mills Poop is hidden by a tree branch and hard to see. The pool driveway to reach this parking space is also blocked off by orange traffic cones. Painting the curb light blue by the accessible parking sign would help make it more visible and accessible.

Just want to suggest that when the crews are cleaning up the landscaping on Sayre RD in the median, they close the left lanes.
They are too close to the road working on the median. Someone is going to get hurt.

The tops of the swings chains were all assembled with bolts that are too small, which prevents the nuts from fully attaching. I discovered this by finding one of the nuts on the ground, so I looked up at the connection point and the bolt had no nut and was unsecured. I would highly recommend reattaching the swings at the top with longer bolts and lock nuts.
In order to prevent injury, I have fully disconnected this side of the swing and left all hardware attached.
Thanks!

This was reported as a fire hazard, and also being reported as a trails issue to keep the parks dept updated on the activity along the Rail Trail. Large fire at 10:10pm on June 19, 2024, in the woods along the Rail Trail. The homeless camp on City-owned property (according to the GIS) is burning a large, open fire this evening. This is on the Rail Trail north of Gordon Pike maybe 0.3 to 0.4 miles, east and south of the Terrace Drive area. This is a significant hazard to the City property and neighboring private property. The fires need to stop and the camps need to be cleared out immediately before the homeless burn acres of woods, fences, sheds, houses, trailers -- anything in the vicinity could go up in flames soon.
