Green name signs at W. Davis Street & N. Rogers Street are faded and unreadable. Please replace with new ones.
Grounds keepers are blowing leaves into the street, clogging storm drains.
Location: 806 S. Stull Ave., Bloomington A car is blocking my driveway AGAIN this morning! The yellow curb paint is wearing off across my driveway so it is difficult at night to see that a car should not park there. Can you please come out and repaint my yellow curb? Thank you so much! Jenni Wilkinson
Additional signs warning of low bridges should be added; although it is amusing to when rental moving truck semiannually hit the low bridges ( https://bloomingtonian.com/2019/10/28/ryder-truck-stuck-on-dunn/) . Currently there are is sign at 12th/Indiana and another half block north of 13th/Indiana. If some is turning south from 13th street on to Indiana then there is no sign with the height. The cost of additional warnings and signs would be offset by avoiding the any time spent having police direct traffic and repairs needed.
The traffic light is completely out, not flashing or anything. and it's a busy intersection.
Going north on Old 37 from Gourley Pike, I recently rode down the hill that leads into the Cascades. As this hill is frequently used by cyclists, it is good that it has a new smooth pavement. Cyclists will attain a high speed on this hill and maintain their speed beyond the bottom of the hill. When I did this, I came to a place where I experienced several terrible jolts. I found that there is a place beyond the bottom of the hill where the pavement is very rugged due to a cluster of deep potholes. This road hazard could easily flip a bicycle over. It is easy for a cyclist to unwittingly get caught in this perilous situation. Since many cyclists use this route one can expect what happened to me and worse to happen to many of them. This is of critical importance right now because in a few days, on Sunday October 27, thousands of Hilly Hundred riders will be riding down this hill. It is imperative that this rugged place in the road be repaired.
The bicycle crossing button at Walnut and Allen on the south west corner is missing.
I recently saw a map of sidewalks that showed the westside of Madison between 16th and 17th was in "fair" condition (https://bloomington.in.gov/transportation/sidewalks/repair-assistance/map.pdf). This stretch of sidewalk is narrow and broken and one of the worst well-traveled pedestrian areas in town. The east side of the street, labeled poor on the map, isn't nearly as bad. At the very least, I'd like the map corrected so there is an accurate recored. But, what I'd really like done is that this block is fixed. It is heavily traversed and will likely see more traffic once the bus routes change. Thank you.
Green light at rockport and tapp is out.
