The parking lines on the south side of the square are even more invisible than they were last year when I requested they be re-painted. I was told last summer that the painting was scheduled, and then it was winter and it hadn't been done. Then I was told it was scheduled for this past spring. It's still not done. Abandoned vehicle parked facing south on Fairview St. This vehicle has been parked on the cross section of W. 6th St. & Fairview St. for approximately 7 days which during that time has not moved. 1219 s Washington St. This car is parked in the yellow and halfway covering our driveway making it impossible to pull out of our house without risking damage to our cars. Thank you!

The owner of this car has a private parking space on the 500 block of West Smith Avenue. (Not sure of the house number. Sorry.) As you can see, he is not within the lines. Smith Ave. is a narrow street and said 'outside the lines' parking makes it difficult for UPS/USPS, emergency, and construction vehicles to pass through easily. I've spoken to him "in-person" to politely remind him to not park in the middle of the street. Would a ticket with a fine attached get his attention? I hope so. He doesn't seem to be moved to change his parking behavior by kind yet direct words from a concerned neighbor.

Meter S42 in the parking lot between 4th and 5th streets is not functioning. I put money in the meter, and the green light did not come on. At that time, I saw a note in the window that said the meter is not functioning. I left my car there for the next hour anyway because I paid to park. The plate on my silver Kia is RWR409.
