Excessive Growth
Bloomington City Hall
- Case Date:
- 8/12/2020
Tons of garbage and debris - e.g., broaken couch, electrical equipment, slurpy cups, clothing, fecal material. Please clean up ....and please come up with a plan to actually provide facilities for the homeless population in Bloomington.
We have zero water coming out of our sinks, toilets, etc. I've been sent to voicemail on customer service multiple times and nobody is calling back to address the problem.
I am attempting to log into my parking account to appeal a parking ticket. I am unable to log in, and get the error message shown in the screen when I attempt to recover my userID using my email geoff.mckim@gmail.com. I called the number shown on the Web site for this error (Parking), and the woman who answered pretty much knew nothing about what I was talking about. After I stated that I called exactly the number that I was supposed to call for this problem, she said "OK, I'll have an IT person look at it." and hung up. Which is fine, but she didn't take any of my information so I'm not sure that will actually result in this getting fixed. Can you possibly clear up his issue so I can log in and appeal the ticket in a timely manner? Thank you very much!!
Tree branches down in easement, need to be removed.
On the 1400 block of S Grant, there used to be a no parking sign on the west side of the street. It's no longer there. Students are coming back and they are parking on both sides of the street making it almost impassable. Thanks!
The line of sight leaving Switchyard Park by the police substation to exit onto Patterson is in need of some help. First, when you look to your right (east) there is an overgrowth of brush and bushes that obstruct the view. Then, when you look to your left (west) the Switchyard Park sign is in the way! This park is horrendous for traffic flow. There is not a single entrance/exit to the park that has a well planned or safe means of entering and exiting. All three of the main parking areas exit onto a busy street with no traffic signals or signs to aid in the entry or exit. Traffic backs up on Rogers, for instance, at times when one car is waiting to make a left turn into the park on southbound Rogers. This is going to only be worse when there is a concert or an event going on. What a bad design!
In the southbound lane of Rogers just north of Rockport there is a growing pothole. This is starting to get bad and could use some filling action from the City.
In the northbound lane of Rogers in in front of The Warehouse (just south of the Warehouse driveway entrance, south of Community Kitchen) there is a growing pothole and there are also some random boards / debris laying in the road that need cleaned up. That area is also showing a lot of gravel that could be swept for bike safety.
Here is one for the Guinness Book of Records: Bloomington Furniture Company on Eastland Plaza (off E Third) has 12 signs out, 3 near Dominoes pizza on Woodscrest and 9 in a row along E Third.
