See case #188200. The section of the retaining wall along Lincoln is getting worse and it looks like it could fall any minute. Has anyone actually gone out to look at this? Why wait until it collapses before doing something about it?
See case #188527. Garbage still piled up against house. Tenants do not seem to care about warnings or small fines. Can the fines be associated with their water bill so that it gets turned off if they do not pay?
There is a utility pole at the SW corner of this property (by the alley) that is completely covered in vines, most, perhaps all of which are poison ivy. The vines are right next to the alley and tenant parking lot and are so high up (25+ feet) that the vine is going to seed. Is this the responsibility of the adjacent property owner, or do the utility companies maintain their poles? If the latter, do we have to wait the 5-year cycle for them to come by and do the trimming, or will they come by if someone requests it? And if so, how do we contact the utility which bears the responsibility?
There is a City-owned tree in the ROW that is completely covered in vines, some of which are poison ivy. The vines are right next to the sidewalk, and are so high that the vine is going to seed. Is this the responsibility of the adjacent property owner, or does the City attend to its own trees?

Hello, there is a massive issue with drivers running red lights and stop signs in this city. I have marked a particularly bad intersection (Madison and 11th), however this issue is city-wide. The included intersection has a wall on the bridge that prevents vehicles from seeing around the corner to 11th street, which often means that people just roll right through the stop sign. I've been almost T-boned at this intersection multiple times, and I genuinely fear I may die there some day. I have already been hit once by someone ignoring traffic laws on Third Street, and have almost been hit on foot and in my vehicle countless times downtown. It has gotten to the point where I am afraid to travel around the city. There should be traffic cameras on the stop lights, and more aggressive fines to deter these people casually ignoring safety and traffic laws. I understand that it is hard to enforce stop signs, however I have witnessed (on multiple occasions) police patrol vehicles allowing people to run right through 4-way stops, and some even do it themselves. People are learning that there are absolutely no consequences for driving recklessly around the city, and it has gotten noticeably worse. Please, consider taking action about the extremely unsafe traffic situation in our city.
Hello, I am writing to inquire about whether the sidewalk on the east side of S. Jackson St. between 3rd and 4th streets can be repaired. As a person with a visual impairment, I have a terrible time walking on the sidewalk in this location, which is in the block where my house is. The sidewalk is very uneven, with tripping hazards throughout its course due to decay. If I didn't have a visual impairment, it would certainly be easier to walk on this part of the sidewalk, but I know that others with no visual impairment also have a difficult time because of the deteriorated surface. Please trim the branches that overhang the short bike path that runs between South Rogers Street and South Madison Street on what would have been West Ralston Street (If it were a street and not a bike path). Thank you.

Our neighbor at 2285 south Sweetbriar Court. Packs his boat on a trailer on street parking. I have seen Amazon driver not able to go between vehicles parked on street. Neighbor straight across has a big white work van on street. I'm concerned about a Senior neighbor that needs Access Bloomington for her MD appointments. Also, I wonder if an ambulance could get thru as well. Thank you. Concerned neighbor.
