Nick's Pub owner, Greg Rago, called in with a complaint of a dumpster that is not being emptied in a timely manner. It currently is filled so high that it is to Nick's second story. He stated that this is not a snow issue, that it is a common occurrence. The owner and property management of the building have been notified numerous times and are refusing to do anything about it. He says that the issue stems from apartment residents or guests parking in front of this dumpster making it impossible for their sanitation company to empty the dumpster. Sidewalk not shoveled on Rogers St on Hopewell site

The sidewalk at third and Madison connecting Madison to the b-line trail and crossing the street is currently unshoveled, and road access for handicap individuals on that corner is blocked by plow created embankments. Please have someone come out to shovel and salt these asap as a friend reliant on a mobility scooter in my apartment complex is unable to access groceries/basic needs via the b line trail due to this issue. In addition to this, I’m sure there are more people experiencing this in more spots around the city. I’m not sure what can be done proactively, but is seems that the city has a deep enough well of contractors to subcontract out shoveling/salt on sidewalks critical for access to Bloomington’s disabled population. snow plows came Sunday for the first snow, but I haven't seen any since. Cars have been getting stuck in front of my house. I drove around the Broadview neighborhood last night and lots of roads look like they haven't had a second pass through.

I forgot to mention in my original report, #200064, that I called management yesterday about this ongoing issue, and it’s yet to be taken care of. This is sassafras apartments, particularly in front of apts 39, 40, and 41.
