Massive trash, broken bottles, cups, garbage, etc. Street Dept. notified and coming out to clear street.
Trash piled up on south side of building along alley where wild animals can dig through it.
I have been hearing glass shattering outside of my apartment building on the parking lot. Tonight, I looked outside and noticed our neighbors, residents at 712 E Hunter Ave, throwing bottles and shattering them in the parking lot, next to parked cars. It occurs right outside their side door. They throw is from their door, to our dumpster. It misses and shatters all of the ground making it impossible to drive through the parking lot. This complaint was submitted anonymously, online to the Indiana Department of Environmental Management
trash bins, commercial bins put out
I recently purchased a house, but the easement property behind (Duke) has been a debris pit for somebody in the neighborhood. It seems to be mostly leaves on top, but there are also tires & chairs floating inside. The pile is starting to slide into my property. I am not sure what to do, since it is easement property. I would like to eventually put up a fence in the back, but the sliding debris pile would problem ruin any ability to do that. If this department cannot help with this situation, please direct me to a department that can. Rebecca Rice
Please close report #177626. It was mistakenly associated with 810 N. Lincoln. The correct address is 806 N. Lincoln, and there is now a case for that address (#177802). The wall at 810 N. Lincoln is not sound, but it is not currently crumbling into the sidewalk.
Weeds have overgrown and are blocking the sidewalk (again), preventing strollers and wheelchairs from using the sidewalk. Not clear is problem is responsibility of 314 E. 11th or 719 N. Grant (or both).
trash scattered throughout yard.
This property is a disaster.Neighbors realize the city is limited as to what it can enforce but these residents are allowing invasive weeds to grow all along the street which must be a violation of some code. On the rare occasion they do mow, they allow lawn clippings to pile up in the street and leave them there to blow away or go down the storm drain. Look in the drain, please. Their weeds need to be eradicated for the sake of all surrounding neighbors. I believe they have been repeatedly warned about not mowing. When they do mow, it is ONLY the area at the curb which we all assume is your only jurisdiction; however, their backyard is so over-grown it can't help but be a breeding ground for vermin. Seriously, please help the Blue Ridge neighborhood with all you can. It gets worse every year. Pics were taken but won't load.
