This home looks abandoned. There is garbage everywhere on the outside of the home. Also, during the past few nights there has been a pick up parked in the backyard which starts up periodically throughout the night and is very loud. A fire was continuously going as well.
Excessive growth. Windows broken out of garage, possible unsafe. Also squatters living here currently.
As I’m sure it’s known by now this has been an ongoing issue with this property. And with it now causing rodent and pest problems, literally being seen coming from the trash and the overgrowth of the property, putting us neighbors at risk of getting them as well and having to deal with the financial causes removing them. We’re at a loss as to what to do other than continue to report it and hope that something is finally done about the issue as it’s becoming extremely out of control. This has been like this since before Tuesday and it still continues to sit out by the curb.
There is an alley directly next to my window that is blocked off immediately after my window. I feel extremely unsafe as there are people, homeless or not, doing drugs and being loud at night. I have contacted my landlord about moving the gate to allow my window to be on the blocked off side but they said it was it was an emergency exit so they could not do anything. I have seen men passed out, stumbling in this alley and feel very passionately about it being blocked off. Please, is there anything you guys can do to make my bedroom feel safer at night.

Trash has been sitting outside in recycling bins for over a month. Saw a rat by the bins on 10/10/23. This is one of many Jeff Jones affiliated rentals in the neighborhood. He has been called in for violations way to often and should not be allowed to have rental properties in the city.
As we appreciate the note, made on the report that each complaint you ge, is addressed. We are however, very much confused as to what contacting the sanitation department has to do with that. I’m aware that you can contact them at a cost to pick up additional trash, but from our understanding, directly from the sanitization department, is that if anything in the recycling can is not only in a bag but won’t close they will refuse to take it because it contaminates the recycling. Regardless, that doesn’t stop trash get scattered all over the yard, ,the streets and the pest problem that it’s now creating outside of their home, which again goes into other peoples homes, causing not just a sanitization issue, but a health issue as well, along with fees, it cost to get rid of such pest just for them to return again because of the same issue when there’s no reimbursement available. So again, if hand is not able to do anything about this, if it’s possible to at least point us in the proper direction so that maybe we can finally get it dealt with it would be greatly appreciated. because, as you well know this has been going on for over a year now with short term fixes for it to just continue to go on and get worse .
Hello, I’m not sure if we are reaching out out to the proper party. However, as a neighborhood, we have tried everything else that we can think of, including asking the neighbors nicely to deal with the issues at hand just for them to get worse. They’re trash is repeatedly overflowing all over the ground children leave trash scattered throughout in everyone’s yard never pick it up, the grass is so overgrown that we have literally witnessed crawling out of it. In regards to the trash it has now gotten so bad that you can literally see cockroaches, crawling all over the place, obviously making us fears as neighbors that it will become our problem as well. The trash literally gets so bad that the cans will be overflowing bags will untied on the ground , and even though the trash will still pick it up, it is frustrating because if ours is like that they will refuse to take it. Their recycling can will not able to be closed as well have actual trash bagged up and everything, they will still take it. Again as much as we appreciate it it’s not fair to the rest of us either. A few weeks ago they didn’t even put the trash out to the street. It was in the driveway and the trash man at the time actually put as much effort into stopping the truck physically getting out grabbing the trash cans, dumping them in the truck along with all of the excess bags that were on the ground again things that as neighbors if we want picked up, we have to call in notify you guys and potentially pay an additional fee. Again when it comes to the past issue that it is causing, it is greatly appreciated, but it leaves the rest of us very very frustrated. In regards to the pest and vermin were aware of where we can take the issue. The landlord clearly will not do anything about it. I don’t know the steps the city have taken if there have been any in regards to this, but clearly, even if they have the neighbors don’t take it serious or have any regards to the issues that they’re causing others. Some of us are highly allergic to things such as cockroaches, and. vermin droppings, therefore this is going beyond just becoming a nuisance. It is now becoming an actual health and hazard issue that we would all definitely like to be addressed as soon as possible. Again, we have tried to do it on our own. it doesn’t get anywhere, and at this point it leaves many of us and fear of retaliation because we just don’t know what else to do. There have been pictures upon pictures. I have been able to obtain a few myself that I will attach. I do apologize to some of them are in the dark but again we do live in fear of what would happen to the neighbors see that we are taking pictures of the property and you know trying to get something done about it. I’m also not sure how many pictures can be attached, so if I’m not able to upload more than one, I will do my best to upload the one that shows the severity of the situation. The trash vehicles come extremely early, sometimes even before 6am. The dumpster dumping is obnoxiously loud and sounds like its purposely done in an inefficient manner. It comes more than 2 days a week and ruins our sleep. Please come up with a way to have it come later, no one in 10th and college can sleep.
