Potholes on S Walnut in front of Chase Bank
Pot hole forming in the middle of the south edge of the intersection of 10th / Grant.
At Dodds and Lincoln there are a few large potholes, and a couple more just north of this intersection as well
There is a huge pothole at top of hill before you reach the stop light. It was dark and raining this morning and I hit the pothole without knowing it was there. My dash immediately let me know that my front right tire had 0 air pressure. I pulled into IU Credit Union parking lot and checked. My tire was completely flat. I drive a new Hyundai Sonata and have never had a flat tire in this car.
The alley to the west of 1022 and 1024 W 7th is highy degraded and a danger to cars and traffic. It is so uneven that it's a danger to pedestrians as well. I am trying to upload an image here but the site doesn't seem to be accepting it.
There's a nasty pothole in the center of Moravec Way, just south of the intersection with the BLine Trail. It would be great if it could be filled with gravel or repaired.
Something changed in the programming or timing of this light in the past week. I noticed maybe Friday of last week that the light on Rogers was flashing yellow and someone was at the control box. Now, the light sits on red for a long time on Rogers. This week, traffic headed south on Rogers around 5pm has been backed up like never before. The backup extends from Rockport north to Grimes at a minimum. This is a huge problem and needs to be fixed back to its normal operation that kept traffic moving on Rogers.
I've noticed all this week that there seems to have been some changes to the timing of the stoplight at the corner of Rogers and Rockport. This has caused 5pm traffic to log jam all the way down Rogers, through the Grimes and Rogers intersection, even backing up to Allen St. or Dixie St. at times. People at the Rogers and Grimes light heading south then attempt to go around the jam by turning left on Rogers onto Grimes. This causes Grimes to back up as well creating further problems at the Grimes and Rogers intersection. The Rogers and Rockport light used to allow traffic to flow without issue, but with the recent change, only 3-5 cars are let through at a time before it's red again. It's turned my 10 minute commute home into a 40-45 minute nightmare. Please help!
This whole section of Patterson/Grimes (between Madison and Walnut) is in need of grading and resurfacing. The surface is super rough the whole way and there's a large raised bump under the bridge.
