The bike lane on 7th St between Morton st and Washington St is incredibly icy. It makes it extremely hard to stop for the lights and make it up the hill on 7th street without falling down. Additionally, the connection between the B-Line and 7th St lanes is covered with a snow bank. Please salt ASAP!
Hello, the sidewalks along woodlawn from bryan park to the intersection on atwater are very hazardous. Many sections are unshoveled and are now frozen and slippery - I nearly fell today. Could these please be shoveled/salted? Thanks so much!
I am wondering if any additional effort will be made to clear snow off of streets. Many side streets are one lane only. Sherwood Oaks is a good example but certainly not the only place with issues. Mailboxes are impossible to dig out with plowed snow blocking them.
There has been a pothole on N Maple (close to where it intersects with W 15th) for a while, and it has been growing recently. Could it please be filled before it gets any larger? It's on the right-hand side of the street when driving south on Maple. Thank you!
The back alley behind S Maple St. has not been cleared nor salted. I would like to request getting the alley AT LEAST salted, as my vehicle got stuck today (1/13) going up the alley and I had to pay $147.40 to get it towed 500 feet. The back alley connects to our driveway which is the only way we, including numerous neighbors residing in the alley, can commute in/out. I am very disappointed with the snow removal in my area and believe the city needs to take further action to remedy this issue ASAP.
I am writing to express a concern regarding the recent snow removal efforts on N Washington Street between 16th and 17th. Currently, only one lane has been plowed, leaving large piles of snow in the street as well as in designated parking areas on the north side of the street. This has created significant issues for residents and visitors, as parking on the street is nearly impossible without risking falls or accidents due to the icy and uneven conditions. I kindly request that the street be re-plowed, with particular attention to clearing the north side, and salted to ensure safer access for pedestrians and vehicles. The snow plow plowed one alley to the north, drove over the snowed in road with the plow up while I was cleaning the road snow off my wheels, drove around the block and did it again while looking at me. They wanted me to know they were not plowing this section of the road. I do not know them. I did not interact with them. They just glowered at me while I was cleaning off my car and purposefully refuse to plow North Maple St. Please address this harassing behavior. Plow the city road that is next to my driveway without purposefully plowing it into my drive, which is how they plowed it the last time. I have no idea what their issue is. I don't care. I care that people do the jobs they are paid to do like responsible adults, not petulant teens who wanted me to applaud or something.
