Road lane lines are almost imperceptible in daylight, absolutely so in the dark, and the old blacked-out lines are the ONLY thing visible in the dark and rain. Dangerous!
It would be great if the diagonal parking spots on S Madison St (200 block near city hall) could be re-striped. Also, some parking spots have numbers, but there are no corresponding numbers on the meters. As someone who parks here daily and works on this block, I can attest that many people have difficulty understanding which meters correspond to which parking spots. Just today I paid the wrong meter! Thanks!
Traffic light is out at 3rd and Dunn.
Some pretty large potholes in front of the small parking lot to the park.
There is a pot hole that needs to be filled, located near the alleyway between the Ferguson Law building (403 E. Sixth Street) and the Poplars Building.
On April 29, 2018 I was turning onto 3rd street off of Jackson where I struck a curb in the middle of the road. There is a street sign at the corner warning you of a speed hump but not that there is a huge curb holding dirt and literally in the road. It CUT my tire and damaged my rim. Not sure how or where to file this complaint, but hopeful the city will accept responsibility. I was told by 3 different residents at the time I hit it that less than 24 hours prior another lady had hit it also with damage. And that a city police officer 2 weeks ago had hit it as well. I work for a ride share company and am now out of commission until I can get this in for repairs. you can contact me @ 8129299231 or nikkimull@yahoo.com
Yellow curb painting needs to be done on W. 3rd Street between Fairview and Maple Streets (704-724 W. 3rd on north side of street; 715-731 on south side). Nearly all other blocks in this area were done a few months ago, but for some reason this block was not done and old yellow paint is nearly invisible. (See attached photo example of curb at mid-block alley point.) As a result, people are parking too close to alleys, driveways, etc., creating hazards for others. Thanks for your help!
1000 block of Palmer develops puddles in front of the houses when it rains. Can we have some gravel fill along the street edges, please? Thanks in advance, Judy 1008 S Palmer
There is a fairly sizable pothole on 4th Street a bit west of Indiana Avenue (probably something like 30-60 feet west of Indiana Avenue, based on memory and a guess).
