Hi there! First off, Switchyard Park is looking really good. I know finishing touches are still in process. I was excited to see that the dog parks are now open. However, several times now we've taken our small dog (below 25 pounds) to the small dog park only to see that number of people have their large dogs in the enclosure. It wasn't possible to use the park because the dogs were rather rough during play with the other dogs. The first time we thought maybe it was a fluke but the subsequent two times the same thing happened. The small sign on the placard isn't particularly visible so I'm wondering if it would be possible to have a sign directly on the entry gate labelled "small dogs" and a "large dog" sign on the opposite dog park gate? Perhaps you could also indicate either the weight maximum or example of standard dog breeds considered small v. large. I've seen such signs in other municipalities for their small v. large dog parks. Hello, I am writing to report that the rake/scraper for the bocce courts at Switchyard Park is missing, so as to make restoration of the courts possible only by bringing one’s own rake/scraper. Can you please tell me whether and when the rake/scraper will be replaced? Thank you!

Switchyard Dog Park needs a hose or more accessible water spout/fountain installed for large communal (dog) water bowls. Ferguson model works well. An awning that actually provides shade (current one does not) would also be wonderful. Thank you :)

I Googled "Bloomington Rail Trail" and it shows up under the City Parks Department, as I thought was the case. So, I am submitting this report for the City, even though it is along a County road. The crossing of the Rail Trail at Rogers street south of Gordon Pike and north of That Road (which road? That Road) is overgrown on the southeast side of the crossing. When driving on Rogers from the south headed north, it is difficult to see the trail and trail users on the east side of Rogers. People drive fast on this part of Rogers. Can the city clean up this line of sight issue so people are safer crossing the road? Thanks.

The limestone bench that is near the tennis courts, and under a very large tree, has been vandalized and pulled apart.
