The owner of this car has a private parking space on the 500 block of West Smith Avenue. (Not sure of the house number. Sorry.) As you can see, he is not within the lines. Smith Ave. is a narrow street and said 'outside the lines' parking makes it difficult for UPS/USPS, emergency, and construction vehicles to pass through easily. I've spoken to him "in-person" to politely remind him to not park in the middle of the street. Would a ticket with a fine attached get his attention? I hope so. He doesn't seem to be moved to change his parking behavior by kind yet direct words from a concerned neighbor.

Meter S42 in the parking lot between 4th and 5th streets is not functioning. I put money in the meter, and the green light did not come on. At that time, I saw a note in the window that said the meter is not functioning. I left my car there for the next hour anyway because I paid to park. The plate on my silver Kia is RWR409.

This car has been parked in front of my house for over a month. It is leaking oil and has a flat tire and no residential permit. I called parking enforcement early in September after the car had been there over 2 weeks. I reported it via this website last Saturday. It now has 4 tickets on it but it's still there. The residents at 831 W 6th continue to park going the wrong way in front of the house. Two vehicles were parked facing east last night and they are still there this morning. One is an orange car and the other is a minivan with a Papa John's sign on top. 831 is a rental property.
