Parking meter bent in front of the Buskirk entrance.
Parking meter bent in front of the Buskirk entrance.
There has been a dark green Chevy Trailblazer with an Illinois license plate that has been parked at a meter space for about a week now. It’s on the west side of Walnut street. It does have front end damage so it may not be operational? Would like the city to look into this.
Multiple vehicles parked On both sides of the road making navigating through the street a little difficult especially with bigger vehicles and delivery trucks
Are people allowed to park large vehicles on the street? There is a delivery van that has been sitting in front of this house for several weeks. It is a large, white, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500. Also there is a boat that is sitting in the backyard of this property - see uReport #179060.
The parking garages are said to be free after 5pm on Fridays, all day Saturday, and all day Sundays; however, I parked in there yesterday (Saturday) and had to pay when I left. The gates are still closed and red so i’m assuming the same will be for today.
The red Chrysler in the image has repeatedly been parking illegally on the yellow curb in front of our unit for months. We have left notes and tried to be cordial, but they continue to do so and it has blocked the trash truck/delivery trucks from being able to come down our street on occasion. Additionally, it makes it extremely difficult to get in and out of the neighborhood. There is plenty of other legal street/guest parking nearby or directly across the street. The license plate number is ROC423. Thank you!
There seems to be an abandoned vehicle. It is a red pick up truck with a flat tire and no visible parking permit. It has not moved for over a month.
I moved into the new apartment complex at 1301 S Walnut St this past August. Until last week, there was ample parking available on Driscoll St. that tenants in my complex could use. Last week, though they painted the curb yellow (half of the block 100 E Driscoll and 1200 S Walnut), taking away 3 to 4 parking spaces. This was not communicated to myself or the other tenants in the building. If the building has been occupied since August, why is the street just now being painted? Myself and the other residents of my building are not happy that so much parking space has been taken away this late into out leases. The amount of space now marked as a no parking zone is excessive, causing major inconvenience for myself and the other people who park on Driscoll Street regularly. I just received a citation today for being parked partially in this area and I am very frustrated as I used to park there regularly with no issues.
Meter deactivated on park mobile. Zone 76136.
