Report of graffiti at 1301 Woodhill Dr. There has been a "F--- You" spray painted onto a vacant house, as well as a spray painted phallic object on the street. A stop sign was also marked nearby.
Stop sign issue. The stops signs on Rogers (intersection with Dodds) are not apparent enough, so people have a tenancy of blowing through the four way intersection. The suggestion is a red reflective strip on the sign pole, or another way of making the stop signs more visible in order to improve safety at the intersection.
There is no yellow paint or other indicator near the intersection so people don't part close to it. As such, turns become tight and difficult, as well as there being an obstructed line of sight because cars are in the way. The request is that there be some measure put in place to prevent parked cars from clogging the intersection.

I have lived at 1211 West 11th Street with my daughter for 2 1/2 years. I have called HAND multiple times concerning the house next to me at 1209 West 11th Street. The yard is not mowed on a regular basis with the backyard waist high at present. There are out buildings that are in disrepair with trash throughout the yard. There is also a truck in the backyard that hasn't been moved in 2 1/2 years along with stacks of tires. There are trash bags, mattresses, and other items on the front porch. Multiple windows are boarded up, and there are large holes in the roof. There are Copperheads in the yard. There are many pedestrians in the area and with the snakes present, there is a very real danger. I called animal control last summer and was told they couldn't do anything because it was the snakes' "natural habitat". I greatly appreciate your attention to this matter. Diane Fraker 812-360-7243
Excessive growth at a seemingly abandoned property, hole in the front door and animals residing in the residence.
From: Dorothy Granger <dorothy@shalomcommunitycenter.org> Date: Wed, May 10, 2017 at 10:37 AM Subject: house on Valleyview To: simsd@bloomington.in.gov I must not have seen you on Friday because I forgot to email you the address about which neighbors have concerns. It is 3321 N Valleyview Dr in Fritz Terrace. I drove by yesterday and it looks like the trash that had been strewn on the front driveway has been moved to the north side of the house and covered with tarp. Maybe someone is working on it : ) but I would like to know what is going on there. thx Doris!! d. Hello, I am sorry to keep pestering you about this but nothing has changed at 3321 N. Valleyview Drive here in Bloomington. There are several trash bags in the front yard as well as other trash. It looks like animals have helped make the mess a bit worse. Could you please work with the proper authorities and city services to clean up the mess and levee liens against the property as well as continue to reach out to the home owner to get this mess cleaned up? The home owner probably needs to cited. Thanks, Damien Erwin
Ms Dwyer contacted me last week and I met her at her house this morning. She is concerned about a sinkhole forming in her yard again and the amount of water that ponds on the south side of her house. This is a historical problem. We made some storm improvements in the alley east of her last year and hoped that would help solve some of her problems but she still has issues and would like to know what she can do. I told her I have asked our crews to video the storm sewer that runs along her yard to make sure the pipe is sound. I told her I would also check our sanitary sewer videos to make sure the sanitary sewer is sound. I explained I would be out of the office for about a week and would get back with her in a couple weeks to let her know what we have found.
"Dear Mr. Hamilton, As my council representative has been ineffective and unsuccessful in dealing with this problem, I am calling on your office for help. For over two years the resident of 1316 South Palmer Avenue has been running a used car lot at his house. There are usually no less than six cars parked in front of his house and across the street from his house at any one time. At least one or two usually have no plates. In addition, his yard is a total mess. He doesn't care about the trash that accumulates in it. If this were a problem in Elm Heights, it would have been taken care of in one day. I understand that one can sell a car from one's property, but this man needs to find a lot that is zoned for selling multiple used cars, and move his business to that place. Please help in moving this used car lot from our street. It is an eye sore and it brings down my property value. The rest of the houses in that block, and on Palmer are very well maintained and clean. Thank you very much in advance for your attention to this matter. Best regards, Michael McCafferty"
