College Pro Painters signs at the following locations: 1) At the McDonald's on E Third Street (corner Pete Ellis); 2) At 1800 E Second; 3) At the corner of Rechter and Covenanter
abandoned car
at 1217 W 6 Street. Weeds, including possible poison ivy, overgrowing the sidewalk
The tree in the photo has grown to the point where the bike parking can't be fully used. As seen in the photo, the spots not covered by the tree are full. If the tree was cut back a little, one more bike could park. The concrete pad is large enough for 2 more bike racks that could park 4 more bikes. It appears those racks may have been removed in the past to accommodate more tree growth.
Dangerous holes at Ferguson Dog Park need filled in. One behind the red fire hydrant and another behind the 7th tree on the right hand side of the large dog run
Kidnappers and house buying scams! Now that we have your attention -- please remove these ugly / junk signs for escape rooms and house buying phone numbers from Winslow & Walnut. On the north east corner there are five - count them, five - signs posted on utility poles and next to the road and sidewalk. This is absurd.
Follow up to ticket #169125 These signs read as 'City of Bloomington Authorized Parking Only' with no day or time qualifications (so 24/7) and Mill parking permits may be used M-F 8-5. There is absolutely no indication that there is a time when 'City of Bloomington Authorized Parking' is not in force. Yet I'm told this lot is publicly available on nights and weekends (when, apparently, 'City of Bloomington Authorized Parking Only' isn't in effect, but it's unclear how anyone is supposed to know this since no hours are posted for that prohibition).
Euclid and W. 2nd intersection: visibility is greatly impaired for drivers turning off of Euclid onto 2nd here, due to overgrown grass and flowers in right of way on NE corner of intersection. Many folks have brought this issue up and it’s true that it’s quite dangerous to turn out of Euclid here. Some people say the homeowner does it in purpose to discourage people from using Euclid. I worry someone will get seriously hurt.
There are a pile of scooters blocking the 6th st. sidewalk in front of the public library. When will the city start removing this debris?
