Given that the City refuses to fine residents who blow leaves and grass into adjacent properties and/or onto sidewalks and streets (or even just acknowledge the validity of a complaint made about it), it seems like it will be perfectly fine in the future for everyone to just rake all their leaves and grass clippings into the streets and let the street-cleaners deal with the mess.

I previously reported this concern a few weeks ago, but the problem has reappeared due to the continued accumulation of leaves. The situation seems to have worsened following Bloomington's policy change to no longer collect unbagged leaves. As a result, many residents are no longer raking, and the town has become noticeably untidy. These clogged drains pose a significant risk of flooding when it rains, creating potential hazards for our community. I kindly ask for prompt attention to clear these drains and consider ways to address the broader issue of leaf accumulation to maintain the town’s cleanliness and prevent future drainage problems. There is a person living in their car on 300 w kirkwood by the frame store. They have been there for about 2-3 weeks now. Vehicle is a silver Volkswagen sedan. Can the city have this person move along or tow the vehicle? Definitely an eye sore out of my apartment.

City Vehicle #689 has a headlight out. When will the city have its employees make sure their vehicles are in working order. This has been about the 5th time I’ve reported city owned vehicles not in working order.

There is a homeless encampment in the woods across the creek immediately behind my home in a residential neighborhood. A matter of feed away from my property. I have sent a letter/email to Mayor and Dep Mayor with no response. As the leaves fall, I will be staring at the encampment and they will be staring right into my home. I have to regularly call the fire dept due to fires at the encampment. I have to listen to them scream, yell and fight. I am also a licensed rehabber and am terribly upset with the way they have ruined the wildlife territory. The woods behind my home is one of the primary reasons that I bought my home almost 10 years ago. I am worried for my children's safety and well being (as well as my own) as the encampment grows. I am devastated that there is now a potential that part of those woods will be removed due to the encampment. There is also a daycare 3 houses from mine as well as several children who I have seen play around the woods and should be able to without fear of an encampment and being hurt. I will happily provide any needed info, picts I have, etc.
