I found 3 syringes in my back yard on Saturday morning. I did notify police dispatch, but wanted to also inform the city. We also had someone walk by the side of our house yesterday evening and got very alarmed when they saw us. Said they were cutting through to catch a ride. We live on a corner and there is no way it would have saved time. I am concerned safety wise, especially for my wife. I feel less sage then I did when I moved back to Bloomington 8 years ago.

The three street lights in front of my home at 930 W 2nd St have been out for over a year. They alternately blink occasionally and by about midnight are out completely for the night in most cases. It is very dark even with the additional lighting provided by the Eye Center across the street. It would be greatly appreciated if these could finally be repaired.

Can you all have your IT folks add a covid-19 option? I'm guessing lots of people are asking about it. Anyways, I was going to suggest some businesses aren't really essential, like ice cream shops (I'm not a fun hater), but everyone hanging out in an ice cream shop parking lot is not exactly health goals for a pandemic. Also, I noticed police officers walking around without masks. Now that that is recommended by CDC are officers and other city staff being provided with such masks and told to wear them?

Did you see the line at the farmers market today for the online ordering and produce pick up? I found this drone footage posted online, and read a comment suggesting some people waited in line for up to 2 hours?? Is there any way to move this to the football stadium on campus to get better traffic flow? Rogers was all backed up for quite some time.

Hello, Monroe Parks & Rec, This is just an FYI and hopefully an appeal for help. I contacted the sheriff’s office on Sunday, March 29, 2020 and since then the camping site looks to have expanded and the trash in the creek and along the road has increased. If you begin at the parking lot on Country Club and walk south on the gravel road that runs parallel to the trail, it takes about a 4-5 minute walk south to arrive at the spot. It is past the brush and next to the creek. There is a small orange tent and a large blue/green structure (I didn’t get too close), there is also something large in the creek that looks like bedding. Please increase police patrols on 10th Street West of campus. Saw two presumably student parties in yards in the open around 5 tonight.
