Mural in People's Park was damaged
mural facing People's park was damaged. I own the Bicycle Garage business and building.
On E Second, close to the corner of Woodscrest and E Second, there are low overhanging branches on the footpath next to the school grounds. Pedestrians have to duck to avoid them.
Traffic calming requested to stop speeders on E Morningside or greater enforcement until
302 park ridge. Several weeks at least van parks in grass left of drive
This isn't ok. Why is the City being silent on LGBT issues? BLM was just painted over a mural that was LGBT inclusive. BLM is true and good, but vandalizing a mural that shows the breadth of minority diversity in Bloomington is not. What about disability? The Asian community? Please keep doing good work for Black lives, and frankly even do better work for Black lives, but please please know there are many more of us that also need the City to step up its game.
Case #172806 came up as "228 E. Brownstone" when the map was clicked, but the address that appears closer to the actual apartment is "211 E. Brownstone" when Google Maps is used.
Residents regularly shoot out extremely loud fireworks late at night, usually after 11pm. Brownstone management has been contacted about this, but have not responded or followed up. Noise disturbance has been reported to police, but the situation continues every night. Is there anything anyone can do to stop these people from disturbing the neighbors and their pets? It is unbelievably loud - like cannon-fire - and formally violates State law as these are tenants and not property owners and the explosions are happening after 11pm.
The stop sign at the intersection of High Street and Southdowns (a T intersection) is difficult to see as one proceeds down High Street (moving in the direction from Maxwell toward Southdowns) due to heavy brush. Concerned because the sign only becomes visible at the very last moment and distracted drivers could easily miss it. Thanks for your attention to this.
