Car has not moved for months, expired license place ACX 155. When it snows it's hard to get around the roundabout.
Overgrown and trash in front and back, dying bamboo into alley, falling down porch.
There is an URGENT need for a stop light at the intersection of 10th street and John Hinkle Place with Woodbridge Apartments. Specifically, children are crossing that intersection every day to board school buses. I have personally witnessed occasions when cars traveling both east and west in 10th street have had to apply brakes in an emergency manner to avoid fatalities. I can assure you it is only a matter of time before pedestrians and vehicles will be involved in accidents resulting in fatalities. The City of Bloomington is hereby put on notice that unless this emergency situation is not addressed the result will be fatalities. As an attorney, I can assure you that the City is legally liable WHEN these fatalities occur. Thank you. Randall Smith 650 Woodbridge Drive Bloomington IN 47408 Telephone: 812 325 1226. I live in Blue Ridge on the north side of town and cross the Dunn/45-46 intersection daily to get to work. This intersection not only has high traffic due to daily Bloomington traffic, but also has high traffic with visitors for game days and other IU events. This intersection needs to be reworked to help with traffic flow and safety. (1) Driving south through the intersection on Dunn there is only a green light (no green arrow or yellow yield arrow like other traffic signs around town.) People frequently turn left immediately on green without yielding, causing several near accidents (happened to me twice just this week.) (2) Going northbound on Dunn -- there are 3 lanes - 1 to turn left, 1 to go straight onto North Dunn, and 1 to turn right. Although there is a sign that says turn left, almost daily people are turning left from the "straight traffic" lane, again causing issues with traffic and safety. I believe there needs to be a sign that says "straight ahead only" -- similar to the signs on South Walnut near Kroger/Seminary Square. As someone who drives this intersection daily, I am always prepared for someone to incorrectly cross through these intersections, but for 90% of people who do not, especially people going to/from IU on visits and other events and/or are from out of town, this is extremely unsafe.
pipe broke, lesk in the kitchen and not sewer.
See issue #182770. They just ripped down the citation and left the trash bin on the sidewalk and the bags full of garbage littering the yard. What good is a citation if there is no way to follow up with a fine? These are students who will likely be moving out in a couple months.
Aggressive homeless people near children's playground. Lets just say some men were exposing themselves. Homeless camp with 4-5 tents. Also they were chopping down trees and burning.
all of country club dr. i cant pick up there theres no shoulder to the road. thx
They leave trash like this every single week, even after having a dumpster twice now. This week when the trash ran, they put out so much that the bin was overflowing & they just started putting bags on the ground. The gentleman obviously only emptied the can & they just let them lay there. Someone eventually put a few in the can & today they finally went out and put the orange bag in the bin. As you can see by the photo attached, the lid still will not close and they leave it sitting there like that until trash runs again. Most of the time the bags are not completely tied off leaving debris to go all around the area, which is more problematic during days like today with the storms & extreme wind. It is now drawing vermin galore all over the place. The few times they have taken the trashcan back down closer to the house they still leave it overflowing like that instead of putting it in garage until trash day, resulting in the exact same issues, & on warmer days we also get to enjoy the smell. I’m obviously not aware of all the rules & guidelines, but we would certainly appreciate if something could be done about this.
