Woodlawn Ave. Between 2nd and University St. Excessive overgrowth and dead tree limbs lying in yard. Huge dead trees need to be cut down. They pose a threat to passersby as this is a major thoroughfare for pedestrians. Unsightly and decreases value and enjoyment of street/neighborhood.

This hole at Bryan Park is not so obvious and ir's therefore more likely someone might step in it and fall, twist an ankle, etc. So it would be good to fill it in. Gravel first, then dirt?

Hole opened up very recently. Bryan Park, near where the feeder enters Sheridan Creek. Wasn't there a few days ago. It's quite visible so not as dangerous, but still it might be wise to fill it in.

When will the assault on the south side of Bloomington traffic patterns stop? The attached photo shows the current problem: far right side, the detour signs for the two CLOSED north/south routes (Walnut Street Pike & Rogers). And the orange barrels show that Walnut is under construction as well.
Today, at 3:15pm, it took approximately 20 minutes to travel from Lucky's Market at Walnut and Winslow to Kroger at Walnut and Gordon Pike. That is 1 mile in 20 minutes - an incredible 3mph speed! Although, in all fairness to that calculation, most of the time was spent at a standstill.
This mess comes on the heels of last summer's mess when the City decided to close every east/west route in town (which, those are still only somewhat complete). What's next?
One might argue there was no planning involved, but it seems like the coincidence of shutting down every road at once multiple years in a row is a coordinated effort, not random happenings.
Disdain is too weak of a word. Can the City get its act together and not hog tie traffic every single summer? Or, at least add some capacity so when it opens back up more traffic can move? None of these projects have yielded any actual improvements in traffic - or, maybe we just can't realize it because when one road opens two more close.

On Winslow / Country Club there is a series of 3 growing pot holes that need filled up.
If you are traveling from the Lucky's Market towards Rogers, they are on the right side of the lane from the B-Line trail crossing up the hill. The three holes are in a row, probably 50 feet apart, going up the hill. They are hard to avoid, especially with oncoming traffic.

It was a dark, but fair evening. Last night at around 10pm, I found myself traveling south on Walnut Street. Cruising along, listening to NPR, when, out of no where, a giant hole. I didn't succumb to the fear, and successfully steered my way around it. But, there might be a Smart Car or a bicyclist waiting for rescue at the bottom of that pothole.
The pothole is in the right travel lane, in front of the Herald Times Building. If you are heading south, it would be the far western lane of Walnut. Go out there, and you will see it.
