Hi, I drive a bucket truck for a business on thorton drive. The boom sticks out six feet in front of the truck. When i pull out onto henderson I am almost in the middle of the road before i can see if traffic is coming. My main concern is that a bus or large vehicle could catch the boom and cause an accident.Before I was hoping the city could remove the overgrowth of brush at the intersection to make it safer. The crosswalk on the southeast corner of Woodlawn and 10th is not functioning properly. When you press to walk, the signal replies to "Wait," but when the crossing is safe to walk, the signal only makes an odd, mechanical noise with no indication that it is safe to cross.

Hello, At 7:30am, someone began jack-hammering the sidewalk immediately outside my apartment window at 222 N College Ave. There are several apartments facing that sidewalk at this location, and it is directly across the street from the Hilton Hotel. In other words, since many people may be trying to sleep in this area, it seems a bit unreasonable to start something so loud before 8am. Thanks for your attention to this matter. Hello. This is not a complaint. Its actually a thank you very very much. The turnabout that was installed on 17th St. behind tri-north is absolutely amazing. It has improved traffic flow so much. I thank you. I'm writing to let you know there are still a series of "sidewalk alternate route" signs that were placed on 11th and Blair, 11th and Maple, up by Mills Pool, and various other places leading from my neighborhood to the turnabout. They seem to not be used anymore and I notice they get moved either into the street, up into peoples yards, or back in the middle of the sidewalk. If construction is done, I just wanted to inform you that they are just generally being forgotten about by whomever put them there. If they are still being used, they are just laying about being ineffective. Just trying to be a good citizen. Thanks for all you do!
